I'M Erik
My name is Erik O"Connell and I am a landscape photographer based out of Carbondale, Colorado. I absolutely love being outdoors in the untamed wilderness, exploring new places in sometimes harsh environments. I hope you enjoy my photographic perspectives and thank you for joining me in a visual journey through some of the most beautiful places in the world.

Inspiration
My inspiration for my art comes from being outdoors as often as I can. I have been blessed to visit some absolutely stunning places and they never cease to keep me right sized which I hope to portray in my work.
Techniques
An invaluable technique to me would be a curious mind that constantly yearns for more, a craving of the body to keep going, and a soul that is full.
career highlights
So far a highlight for me was to be able to learn from Joseph Roybal during a workshop he hosted in the magnificent Death Valley National Park.
